Our 36”x24” custom built-to-order laminar flow hood is perfect for serious bag production. This model features a 36” x 24” x 6” 99.99 to .3 microns HEPA filter. The flow hood is powered by a Fasco centrifugal blower and includes a pre-filter. The unit is constructed from half-inch cabinet-grade birch plywood (no formaldehyde or VOC) cut using lapped miter routers that create self-indexing joints. This improved construction process provides more surface area for adhesion resulting in a superior bond and airtight construction. The cabinet has two coats of low VOC water-based polyurethane finish creating a low maintenance surface. The HEPA filter is protected by an aluminum grill. The grill can be removed for easy replacement of the filter when the time comes, typically after five years of average use. Overall dimensions are 37”x20”x38”. It comes fully assembled, ready to plug and play thanks to the top-mounted switch.

Very well made, the functionality is great. You can tell it’s made with an expert hand. Shipping was a concern of mine due to the size and obviously the cost.. but Cougar went above and beyond to make sure the package was surrounded with insulation. I’d also like to mention the amount of wrap they used to secure the flow hood, it was no joke the best wrap you could expect. It was a major relief when it arrived in one piece and had fragile stickers all over it. They absolutely know what they are doing from build to design to delivery!!
